Review by hotel critic
Château De Corcelle is a delightful and conveniently located stopover for those en route to the French Alps. Just minutes from the A6, this charming chateau successfully embodies a blend of luxury and value that is hard to ignore. Having traveled extensively, I understand the balance between cost and comfort, and this establishment navigates that dichotomy admirably. The warmth of Laura and Julian as hosts makes a notable impression. Their hospitality transforms your stay into a home-like experience. The decor showcases classical elegance with a modern touch, and my spacious room, complete with a super comfy king-size bed, allowed for a restful night's sleep—a key element for weary travelers. Dinner was a highlight, featuring a generous four-course meal paired with local wine. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, offering a taste of authentic French cuisine, a delightful way to start the day. The chateau also includes thoughtful amenities like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a well-maintained garden space, ensuring guests feel catered to. Château De Corcelle presents a strong case for luxury without an exorbitant price tag, making it my preferred stop in the region.
